We’re looking for a Project Manager in Portland!

What do we need?

A new full time Project Manager to work alongside our existing team.

As a Project Manager you hav a comprehensive understanding of the goals and objectives of each assigned project.  You will be the point person for each project from start to finish and will be tasked with daily client facing, owning the entire retail process, addressing business needs, delivering all aspects of the assignment while meeting deadlines and expectations on budget.

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee the entire project from start to finish; planning, costing, timing and execution

  • Collaborate and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders

  • Prepare and manage ongoing budget, purchase orders, vendor invoices and final billing to clients

  • Maintain digital project folder with assets, schedules, budgets, and client communication

  • Anticipate and respond appropriately to risks and changes in project scope

  • Make reliable and informed decisions for clients and Set Creative

  • Establish effective communication with clients and co-workers while building professional relationships with co-workers, supervisor, and clients

  • Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client goals in an effort to develop happy and loyal clients

  • Passionately articulates goals and team principles to help form a positive work environment

  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for client and internal project teams

  • Successfully complete multiple simultaneous projects on time and within budget

What skills are required?

The list of qualifications includes the minimum qualifications necessary for any new employee for this position, such as specific prior work experience, certifications/licenses, technical knowledge of software, machinery, or tools, and physical abilities such as relevant lifting, bending, walking, and/or stooping.

  • 3+ years of work experience at a mid-level position in a similar role

  • Strong commitment to deadlines, budget, and on-time execution

  • Understanding of the creative and environmental design process with knowledge of graphic production techniques, materials, and substrates

  • Familiarity with Mac computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Bachelors degree in Business, or related field preferred

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment

  • Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines

  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills required

  • Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating, and agency profitability

  • A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees

  • Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail

  • Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills

  • After hours work and overnight travel required
